Meanwhile, Fallout 3 will get Xbox One backwards compatibility when the feature launches later this year. It's not clear whether pre-ordering at other shops nab you Fallout 3 also, but there's no mention of the deal on GAME's FAllout 4 Xbox One product page, for example, nor Amazon's. Right now, it looks like to secure the deal you need to pre-order the download version of the game through the Xbox Store, where Fallout 4 on Xbox One costs a hefty £59.99.
Redeem your code on or on your Xbox 360."
"The code for Fallout 3 will be delivered to your Xbox message center in 7-10 days.
"We're excited to announce - for a limited time - your pre-order of Fallout 4 for Xbox One will entitle you to receive Fallout 3 on Xbox 360," reads the official blurb. In a post on the Bethesda Blog last night, the publisher went into the small print on the offer - and it seems you need to pre-order Fallout 4 to get Fallout 3 free.
WARNING: I'm having problems with Fallout 3 GOTY- PC.nothing that would make me suggest you not get the game but you should know that on the official forums page there's a sticky about conflicts between Fallout 3 and "emulator" programs.īefore you install the game.you should read that.At E3 last month, publisher Bethesda announced the Xbox One version of post-apocalyptic role-playing game Fallout 4 would include a token to download Fallout 3 for free, but it would only be redeemable 90 days after Fallout 4's 10th November release. You may not need this or any other controller emulator going forward, but for Oblivion, this program makes a 360 controller work just like the console version what I wanted to hear.F.O.B (fresh outta the box). Most games coming out recently all work with it out of the box. You are right though in that it looks like a 360 controller is the way to go from this point on. I chose this one because of the extensive forum already set up as well as the hundreds of profiles ready to go despite the $20 activation tag. I believe there are some alternatives that may or may not be free as well.
You can download the actual program at several places on trial and pay for it later. The program I was referring to the other day is called Pinnacle Game Profiler. I found out the the 360 controller does work with Fallout 3 right out of the box. So do you think your site would help with a 360 controller on Oblivion? From what I've discovered Star Wars Force Unleashed will also be compatible with the 360 controller, so it probably makes more sense to get a 360 one and try to get it to work for Oblivion.since future games will be geared toward the 360 controller I'll get the 360 one if it's not too much of a hassle to use. I found out afterwards that only 360 controllers will work. The game will "recognize" the controller and you can map buttons to it but.the controller won't work. I had a PC controller went through all the programming stuff. I could post it when I get home this afternoon if you or anyone else is interested.Well, I have F3 for PC and it does not support any controller except the XBox one.unless you download some type of emulator program. It's pretty easy to set up and it works great.
I don't know if the game easily lets you use a 360 controller or not, but I found a site back when I couldn't get a controller to work properly for Oblivion.
